Today (March 24, 2026), I was in attendance at the press conference and training for the UEFA Women’s Champions League match of Real Madrid Femenino against FC Barcelona Femení on March 25, 2026. The press conference included head coach Pau Quesada and the Spanish football player María Méndez.
María Méndez stated, “The squad has the ability to face anyone. The importance of defensive solidity in the team has been evident in recent matches, and we need to maintain that tomorrow and in the games ahead. It’s the quarterfinals, and it will be difficult, but we defend from the goalkeeper to the striker—and that will be key again tomorrow.”
After the press conference, I attended the training session.
Later that evening, I had the opportunity to attend FC Barcelona Femení’s press conference, which consisted of the head coach Pere Romeu and Spanish football player Vicky López. The Catalan club had already completed their training session before arriving in Madrid.
Pere Romeu emphasized, “Our identity is to try to dominate the match through possession and the ball.”
I sincerely appreciate this opportunity and look forward to staying involved in future events as I continue to grow professionally. This is truly a must-watch match that I cannot wait to attend.
Stay tuned for a report of the match in my next post.
